  • There is no such thing as “One Size Fits All” in Medicare – know your options
  • What is this going to cost me? – weighing monthly premium versus “out of pocket” costs
  • What do I do If I am not yet eligible for Medicare? – health insurance options before Medicare

  • Family members who are trying to assist parents and/or relatives navigate Medicare and need help understanding the “terminology” and what questions to ask

About our Presenter: After spending 13+ years as a Senior Accountant for various Property Management and Real Estate Development Firms, Lisa left Corporate America to enter the Insurance Industry and took her unique skills of translating numbers and data from the Board room to the consumer. Lisa has owned and operated Healthsource NW since October 2004. Healthsource NW is an independent brokerage agency focused on health policies such as Medicare, Individual health, Dental and Short Term medical. Very passionate about public education, Lisa has had many opportunities to give presentations about Medicare and the overall health insurance market to professional associations, employer groups and the general public. Lisa and her family live on the Lettenmaier Family farm in Aurora. She is a member of the following professional associations: NAHU – National Association of Health Underwriters; FPA – Financial Planning Association; and NAIFA – National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Registration Details and Fees (price per individual):
Please pre-register by Tuesday, May 26. Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with Zoom access and other details (which must be done in advance). Be sure to indicate any questions in advance on the registration form, though there will also be an opportunity during the meeting to pose questions to the speaker. Registration fees includes the presentation and materials as provided by the speaker and Continuing Education (CE) credit.
  • FPA Member Fee: $10
  • Non-Member Fee: $20

Continuing Education (CE) Credit: This course has been approved for 1.5 credit hours of CFP CE, 1.0 credit hour of Oregon Insurance Division CE and for 1.0 credit hour of Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Participants must prove participation in the full extent of the activity for FPA to file CE reporting on your behalf. Be sure to provide your appropriate certification numbers upon registration for accurate filing. Certificates of Participation for individual record keeping will be provided on a request basis.
