A team from Geffen Mesher, a Portland accounting firm, will discuss the latest federal tax updates, Oregon and local legislation passed in 2020 and the impact of the 2020 elections on federal tax. Year end tax savings strategies will be provided, as well as updates to help participants understand the what the outcome of the election means for tax policy. This will be a very timely presentation with the most recent election results and details!
Learning Objectives:
Current FPA Board Members and Incoming FPA Board Members should register and plan to attend this meeting.
Pre-registration is required -- deadline: Tuesday, November 17. Pricing is per person.
Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom invitation link and other access details. Registration fees includes the presentation and materials as provided by the speaker and Continuing Education (CE) credit as appropriate.
This program has been approved for 2 (two) credit hours of CFP CE and Oregon Division of Financial Regulation. Application was made to the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner; they have denied CE credit for this program. Please note while FPA files CE credit for each of our offerings, credit is not guaranteed for this or any program. Approval of programs is solely based on each accrediting authority.
For approved programs, participants must prove participation in the full extent of the activity for FPA to file on your behalf. This is typically tracked upon logging in and out of the session, as well as verified through a unique code/ID announced during the program. Be sure to provide your appropriate certification numbers on the registration form for accurate filing on your behalf. Certificates of Participation for individual record keeping will be provided on a request basis.
